還有一些習(xí)慣用語，雖然不是被動語態(tài)，但也已it作形式主語，以形容詞或名詞作表語，后接有連詞that引導(dǎo)的主語從句。這種結(jié)構(gòu)的句子在用法上和漢譯上與被動結(jié)構(gòu)相似，如表4—3

我們看到，在翻譯專利文獻(xiàn)時，即使?jié)h語要用被動句，表達(dá)的形式也是多種多樣的，不一定非用個“被”字。呂叔湘先生說：“也許有人說，在被動意義的動詞前面加個‘被’字讓形式和內(nèi)容一致，免得混淆，豈不更好？這是不懂得語言的經(jīng)濟(jì)的話。‘碗打破了’這種說法，幾千年來都沒有人誤會，何以到了我們手上就非加個‘被’字不可呢？”
